Running a large Search in NetSuite
Sometimes a search result may be so large that running it may time out. Even if the results are shown in the UI, the system may timeout when you are downloading.
In that case, the easiest way to get the result is allowing the system to run it in the background (technical speak – another application server picks up this load).
Go to Reports – Saved Searches- All Saved Searches
Search for the saved search that you want to run and click on Persist (CSV).
On clicking it, it opens another page ‘Saved Results’. Wait for your search to complete and click on ‘Download’ to download the file. (you can also reach this Search Result page from Reports – Scheduled Searches – Results)
